Hero Story

This small group of caring, motivated volunteers works closely with their State Representative to deliver thoughtful advice and feedback on how to better serve young constituents in the Greater Lansing area. They spend one semester advocating for the needs of their peers and connecting with their community to develop ideas for legislation and community engagement. The Youth Advisory Council empowers young people to represent themselves and take action to make a change in state government.
