Hero Story

Cherie Long is an took a call to action to advocate for inclusion of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her daughter is disabled and she sees the need for having access to education beyond the age of 26. She founded Heart of the City Development Center to offer these individuals and inclusive safe environment were they can maintain their critical learning skills. She reminds them and the community that we are not a community unless we include everyone.
