Keith VonGlahn
1424 Waukazoo Dr.
Hero Story
Keith is a leader each and every day that he steps foot on a Lakeshore Habitat build site. He's the first to volunteer for the tough tasks and the last to leave everyday. In just over two years of volunteering he's already rocketed up the all-time volunteer hour list. By the end of the year he'll be comfortably inside the top 10 alongside volunteers who were with us for 15+ years.
Keith's hard work and can-do attitude inspire other volunteers on site. When asked who should be considered for the award this year, fellow volunteer Jim Deur had this to say, "That is a no-brainer. It should be Keith VonGlahn. Since he started working with us, he has been there 3 days a week, every week (except when he is visiting his kids). He's the hardest working person there, always does whatever has to be done, never complains, never hesitates to work at any height – be it roof, scaffolding or a ladder – and is the tallest person there so he can reach the ceilings when we are doing drywall work without a ladder when the rest of us shorter people are constantly having to move a ladder to work off of."
