Hero Story

Birth Brite Company Inc, is a nonprofit with a mission to deliver hope and joy to children in foster care. Birth Brite utilizes donations to provide new and like-new items at zero cost to foster children and foster families in Michigan. Our goal is to meet the immediate needs of children in crisis as they enter into the foster care system, encourage foster youths’ resilience, support licensed foster home retention, avoid foster placement disruptions, and most importantly, make sure foster youth know they are valued, worthy and cared for. This goal works in harmony with helping foster parents know that they are not alone, that there is a supportive resource they can utilize, so they are not left to go shop for items every time they accept a new child into their home. Our program focuses on the specific task of building foster children’s resilience, while giving inspiration and hope when it is needed most. Our simple approach and uncomplicated procedures allow us to provide immediate assistance; bringing vital resources directly to foster children in our community.
