Hero Story
Krystal Jang has made service an indispensable part of her life on Michigan State University's campus, and that service has been equally indespensible to our campus community. She's is a current member of Lyman Briggs College and the Honors College at Michigan State University. This last year, she became the current treasurer of MSU's Sexual Assault and Crisis team, and was recently recognized at the Spartan Volunteer Service Award banquet for her tireless work on campus; she was one of five students who received a $200 grant to gift to a local non-profit. She volunteers her time during a variety of events, but consistently devotes herself to the Department of Animal Science's Hoffman Lab on MSU campus, as well as, working the crisis chat at the MSU Center for Survivors. The community is a more dynamic and engaged place, due to her relentless and diligent pace of work giving back to the community around her.
