Peace Tree Parks
Redford
Hero Story
For the past seven years, Peace Tree Parks has produced lasting change and demonstrated community impact by purchasing and transforming vacant land into community spaces built by the community that allows for community members to have access to food grown naturally at no cost to them. Two of the three Peace Tree Parks' garden locations have solar power which was installed by the organization and its volunteers to demonstrate the importance of sustainability.
