Hero Story

Emily Davis led her team of resident assistants at Grand Valley State University with compassion, not only for her student workers, but also for the students in her community. After several years working with students in housing, she was able to move on to her dream in academic advising. While the housing community misses her very much, she has an equally excellent reputation in the academic departments that she serves. Her desire and willingness to help people make her the perfect person to work with students as they plan for their future. She is a wonderful example in how much of an impact kindness can have on the lives of everyone around, but especially the students at Grand Valley.
