Hero Story

Rebecca became the executive director of the Flint River Watershed Coalition in January of 2008. Rebecca brings extensive knowledge to this nonprofit organization, as she has much experience protecting and preserving freshwater ecosystems. Rebecca is committed to growing the organization by empowering citizens to act as the voice of the Flint River in their own communities. This organization promotes efforts to protect, promote, and improve our area’s ecosystem through partnership, public education, scientific projects, and community involvement.
