Hero Story

At the start of the COVID lockdown last year, Amanda and Maddie- mother and daughter- decided to dedicate their newfound free time to helping their local community in their time of need. They have been bonding together over service and volunteerism, becoming closer as a family and closer to their community. Maddie, 10, has learned the value of serving others and takes great pride in her work. With that, she has taken up the additional volunteer work of training new recruits, sharing all the knowledge and wisdom she has gathered from this experience.
