Louis O'Jibway, a Chippewa from rural Michigan, was one of the few Native Americans to serve in the OSS and #CIA.
A star athlete, a decorated WWII combat vet, and a #CIA paramilitary officer, O'Jibway was known as a gentle man with big heart. In his free time, he dedicated himself to helping those less fortunate throughout the world.
O'Jibway was killed in a helicopter crash in Laos in 1965. He was one of the first CIA officers to receive a star on our Memorial Wall.
