Samantha has a passion for helping others. She makes a great impact in her community by raising money to adopt families for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Samantha has donated over 400 emergency period kits to the high school and middle schools in Montcalm county. Each kit includes basic essentials for young girls.
Samantha donated over 80 fun bags to the patients at Devos Children's Hospital. She also has put a total of 3 coat sheds together for the community with her Spread The Warmth project.
Samantha created her platform, Smiles of Hope to brighten everyone's days. Smiles of Hope was created to help those in need, and she has future plans to turn her platform into a non-profit organization so she can continue to help even more people.
Over the past year, Samantha has completed 500 hours of community service. From September 2020 to September 2021, she made a huge difference in her community, from volunteering at the fire department to making an impact with her own platform.
With everything going on, she was also a 2020 graduate. She worked very hard to graduate during a pandemic a whole year early. Samantha is a hard worker and doesn't let anything get in her way.
