Hero Story
Ameera Bandy began with the non-profit Branches Crew in fall 2019. She has always been passionate about education and philanthropy. What attracted her to Branches is the thought that there are children and teenagers that are going through the same situation she was in at such a young age. She dropped out of high school at the age of 15 to help her struggling family. In her mid-20s she made it a point to acquire a high school diploma and before her 25th birthday she made that a reality. She hopes her story will encourage the youth to keep moving forward with their educational goals despite their current circumstances.
