She is especially passionate about youth organizing, and has changed the way the communities in Detroit and adult figures view youth work and what it actually means to be an "active ally" to all respective communities. Her service is so special because of how she views youth as being the solution to many of our societal problems. In her work, she has developed workshops, sat on panels, organized and participated in protests for equity, and bridged the educational divide on so many issues.
