Doug Straub is our Construction Manager at Habitat for Humanity of Lenawee County. Since 2017, he has made relationships and served as a mentor to strengthen Habitat Lenawee's construction program and place in the community. Doug has a special passion for helping the next generation find success, as can be seen through his role as a mentor to numerous placements through MichiganWorks; one of whom now works for Habitat as our Construction Site Supervisor and is studying for his builder's license.
Doug's passion shows when talking about his family and their service in the military. He is a veteran, as are both of his children and his nephew. For this reason, Habitat Lenawee's 2021-22 Veteran Build program is deeply personal to him. Doug is our most genuine ambassador to the community to share why they should consider supporting the Veterans Build and Habitat. We are grateful to have him on our team!
