Linda Mora

Fenton

Hero Story

Sixteen years ago I was only five and in Mrs. Moras Young-5's classroom. She was the teacher everyone wanted, everyone loved, and everyone knew. Flash forward sixteen years and Mrs. Mora would still recognize me on the street, indeed she has not too long ago. That is the teacher she is, still remembers each kids name sixteen years later.

Mrs. Mora has now moved on from Young-5's and is the Director/Principal at Fenton Area Public Schools "World of Wonder" Early Learning Programs at the Ellen Street Campus. WoW programs include: Young Fives, Preschool, Before and After-School, GSRP, Great Start Readiness Program (Michigan's State funded Preschool Program for qualifying 4-year-olds), and Special Education Services. Without the direction and leadership of Linda Mora that school would not be what it is today. She leads with passion, integrity, compassion, and a love for all her students. The World of Wonder is also a spot where many families can receive child care in the summer, meals when needed, and love and attention that allows them to grow into young adults. Without the innovation and direction of Linda Mora the Fenton Schools District would not be what it is today.
