Hatzalah’s Volunteer EMT's are a group of volunteer EMT's that serve the Huntington Woods and Southfield region. These volunteers are on call 24/7 in case of a need of medical assistance in their community. This chapter of the organization was brought to this region when there was a need for assistance for those who may be afraid too all to outsiders for help in the time of emergency. This organization is serving the Orthodox community in vital ways. Although the serve those in or outside the Orthodox community it gives those in the Orthodox community the opportunity to call them instead of 911 and feel safer. They also helped during the pandemic to serve those in the community and help fight the COVID-19 pandemic while also increasing their efforts in saving lives. Through this effort in the community many lives have been saved.
